So I just crossed over from PC to a new MacBook Pro and every time I try to use anything in my Pathfinder palette illustrator shuts down - EVERY TIME. Any solutions out there homeys?

Hi Cody,
The solution to this was covered in Issue #3 of the newsletter.
1. Launch Illustrator
2. Close the Appearance palette
3. Quit Illustrator
4. Launch Illustrator
You should then be okay.
It's a good idea to always close the Appearance palette before quitting Illustrator CS2 if you are using an Intel-based Macintosh. This appears to be a bug with Illustrator CS2 and Intel-Macs only.

Glad I could help Cody :)
And I certainly hope you'd put on some tangerine lip gloss first :)

Cody I feel your pain, Mac released OSx 10.4.9 Today and it fixes all the illustrator issues that I can see. Yes I can now freely use pathfinder
