New subscription question

When you subscribe to Layers via the web, as I did today, should we expect a confirmation e-mail? I never received one after completing the process. No information on the bonus stock images, 100 techniques, an e-mail receipt - nothing......

I subscribed Aug 12th and received a confirmation e-mail with the Subject tittle:

"Your order receipt from Layers Magazine"

Maybe it went in your Junk Mail?

Nope, unfortunately. I checked those options - thanks for the thought though, I double checked - definitely not there.

Thats all the promo stuff that was in the email. There is a place to sign up for the daily tips on the entire Creative Suite 2. Its on their homepage, I don't think that is what your talking about though?

The "bonus" stuff I was referring to was:

Strangely enough, I still haven't received any e-mail confirmation regarding my subscription.

Anyone who has subscribed to Layers can you tell me how long it took to get you first issue? I subscribed Aug 12th and have not gotten one yet, am I being too impatient?

It's a bi-monthly magazine and I got the September/October issue in late August. You may have just missed that issue, which means that your first issue would be the November/December. That issue mails towards the end of October. Sorry it's taking so long. And your Tips booklet should come with your first issue.

I had just subscribed to the Mac Design magazine when I saw this cool looking magazine titled "Layers" over at Borders (I'm in Sydney). So I fork out for this magazine and fall in love with it - only to find the same Layers magazine arrive in my postbox a week later. BTW the magazine ain't cheap by local standards... :rolleyes:
