I am looking for a book printer, who does offset printing(No digital). I have a book job and need to find good printer(it is a tough part). I will appriciate any recommandation/pointer. My book needs real high quality printing and paper.

Why are you looking for a printer that goes to film for offset instead of the direct to press digital?

Many printers I work with have converted and frankly now have a better quality and less prepress issues.

Just need to understand why.

No special reason, I could not find anyone who print spreads on digital, my book has spreds and all pages in color. Need more than 500 copies.

if you can forward any printer info you worked with, that would be great.

500 books digital is no big deal; neither are the spreads issue, providing that you do not have something that is like 300+ pages.

Can you provide more info?
