I am curious about this.. I know Flash is an in-demand program for web design, but how much is Dreamweaver used now these days? I hear most about Flash, PS, and now Illustrator as well.

I want to learn CSS and XHTML and bought a book on that, and I've been trying to force myself through a Dreamweaver book (sometimes...after sitting at a computer 8 hours at work, its hard to come home and sit in front of another computer...). I don't know much about Dreamweaver so that's why I was working through this book, but I started wondering how in-demand is Dreamweaver knowledge now. I still want to finish the book, I might as well either way, I'm half through now. Just had a an off topic thought so I thought I'd ask. :o

rachelle...
It's a good thing to have knowledge of, but my personal opinion is that unless you have the urge to go full-time web-slinging, best to just get the basics as an 'extra' and don't kill yourself on it.

You will know if it is something that interests you, and I'm sure some more learned web designers will give you the 411 on the 'future' of Dreamweaver as they see it.
