'sticky' lines

Is there any way to make points 'sticky' in illy? What I mean is, I want to make a line connected to a shape, so that when I move my shape, the point on the line that is connected moves with it - while the other points on the line stay put. This would make it easy for me to rearrange objects that have lines b/w them...

You can do this is by selecting only the anchors that you want moved with the Direct Selection Tool (the white arrow)

As your object gets more complex, you may have to lock objects beneath what you are tying to select. Sometimes swithing to outline view is helpful as well.
