Glitch in CS3???

I've been using CS3 (on XP) since June and this is the first time this has happened...not sure if it's a glitch or just user error.

For some reason, I cannot get the white arrow tool to select points along any of the lines in my entire file!!!! No, the layers are NOT locked, and I am able to use the black arrow to move them, I just can't edit them.

ACK!!!! I figured it out...

I played around with the options under the VIEW menu, and somehow my "hide edges" was turned on (must have accidentally hit the keyboard command). UGH!!! How dumb. When you're in that mode, you can't view the points or lines while using the white arrow tool. Sheesh...:p

I can't imagine why on earth anyone would need that...

Sometimes it is preferable to work with the edges hidden, obviously when you are direct editing paths is NOT one of those time. But if you are thumbnailing and moving parts around the board to experiment with layouts, turning off edges and the bounding boxes will give you a cleaner look.

Just one of many uses.
