Greetings everyone.
I am new to these forums and pretty new to the Illustrator. I have to say, I am enjoying the learning process, even if my Wacom tablet has been less than a thrill so far. :)
A little background as to what piques my interest in Illustrator:
I work in an environment that basically creates maps in AutoCAD. I have seen what Illustrator is capable of and I want to accomplish some of the amazing things others have created. I have some background in Photoshop, so that comes in handy at times, but I think Illustrator is definitely the path to travel.
Speaking of other paths, I am interested in breaking out on my own when I get some experience under my belt. Graphic Design is where my eyes are aimed, and I intend to use Illustrator to dazzle potential clients down the road. :)
That's pretty much the way I am heading.
I look forward to talking with all of you and learning, and hopefully, I'll be able to pass on what I learn to another group of Illustrator users.
Thank you kindly.
