Hi,

Everytime I create a new document, the default color mode in the color pallet is RBG (decimal). I would like it do be Web Safe RGB (hex). Saving my workspace seems to have no effect on that.

Is there a way I can save that or set that somewhere?

Thanks.

Not sure, but you may be able to open the default documents and save the palette/panel. I'm not positive this is one of the things that will save though.

What you can do instead is Create a template and when you want to start and new document, selects New from Template, instead of just new. Very handy.

I have templates at work set up for the different print pocesses, with lots of custom symbols, pallets and layers with the proof block already laid out, crop marks, spartanics targets, etc... That way the interface and settings are already what I use most for that print process, and I never have to go looking for it. It is easier to the stuff I do not need then trying to find files that have the stuff I can copy or make the stuff from scratch. Then I can have a half a donzen different masters rather than trying to make one mega-file and saving that as my startup file.
