Does any other longtime AI user feel uncomfortable with the CS3 workspace? My major problem is the default workspace. I want my window to fill my screen. I've been using this silly walk: After opening a new doc, I hit Tab and then click on the green button (Mac) to fill the screen. Then I hit Tab again and get my palettes back. But now my window is full screen and I'm happy. :)
There must surely be an faster way to do this.

Why not just tap the f key?
I personally don't want my AI windows to fill my screen so I'm fine with the current functionality. I can always tap f if I need it changed.

Thanks for replying, Scott
"Why not just tap the f key?"
Of course! I do it all the time in PS, and used to in Illustrator. Now that a "true" full-screen view is back, I'll be doing it a lot in Illustrator again. I hadn't realized they gave it back in CS3 until you got me to try it again. I love to look at drawings without any distractions.
I wonder why shift-f doesn't scroll backwards through the viewing modes like it does in PS CS3?

Not sure. I really dislike that shift-[key] won't cycle through tools in the toolbar either :)
