disabled pressure, why?

Help:confused:
I'm trying to set the brush size with pen pressure sensitivity,
I've found diameter option in "brush options" but it's disabled!:mad:
It's gray I can't select it, I can choose Random and Fixed but no Pressure and no stylus wheel.
I'm using a calligraphic brush and my wacom is working well with pressure in photoshop.

May want to post your Illustrator Version and OS. Also the Tablet you are using.

yeah, this happened to me on and off in the past. I think the only thing I did is restarted, kicked the computer around a little and it just came back to life somehow.

I'm using a wacom bamboo with Illustrator CS3 on mac osx (Leopard)

I found a solution. Go to wacom and download the latest driver.
