I have to edit some work that the mesh tool has been used on. Ive done the editing (object > path >offset path ) but getting the mesh back has been impossible without breaking the object into smaller sections.

This has left me with an inconsistant highlighted areas!!

Also the person previously working on it has managed to create flowing mesh guidelines without having to break up the image into bits. They go crazy when I do them!!

Its a complex shape - the end result should look like a tube that reads "trumpet" (1 line that bends into each letter - if that makes sense?!)

PLEASE HELP! Ive been struggling with this for ages!!

Micke,

Are you referring to me? My answer was simply stating that the answer to this person's question was on the beginners forum where he/she has already posted the same question. So if you are referring to me I politlely say I BEG YOUR PARDON! I would never post spam or be so rude!!!!!

Apology accepted.

This was my fault - I didnt realise I had posted on a advanced forum and re-posted on the beginners...

alcbevtesting - Thank you again for your help!!

Micke - Thanks for your concern!!

Sorry I got so annoyed, Sarah. Everyone makes mistakes.

alcb, it was not meant for you. I didn't see your post here before submitting.

Let's move on, and I hope you got your answer, Sarah. By the way, the tubular script might be done easier using the Blend tool, similar to a neon tube effect. There are tutes on that.
