I have a fairly simple map drawn in Illustrator CS3.

When I do a "Save to Web" a sliver of the map, below the bottom edge appears. The resulting image looks the same way.

However, this does not appear within Illustrator itself. In fact, when I import the .ai file into InDesign, or save the Illustrator file as a PDF, the problem isn't there.

The larger image is from Illustrator (preview mode).
The smaller image is Illustrator's Save to Web menu.

The only thing I can think of is that when the image is saved for the web, the stroked lines are converted into pixel widths and the result give you that one pixel gap at the bottom.

I would change the ruler display units to pixels and then click on the border and see what it dimensions at. Make sure the box that is the border is an whole number (in pixels) instead of a decimal, and make sure the stoke is also a whole number (in pixels).

I have seen that before and that was the case.
