I didn't find a forum dedicated to questions about Adobe Bridge so I started one. If I missed it, would one of the moderators please correct this mistake

My question about Bridge and using Version Cue in particular is how do you make Version Cue recognize that a file is not in use. I have a lot of trouble with this. When I open up a version cue file, it will ask if I'm sure I want to edit this file because it is in use by me. Does anyone know a way to fix this?

Where is decent Adobe Bridge and Version Cue documentation? I have already been Adobe's web site and browsed the site for anything pdf or flash or tips etc. Also, I have looked at the major book titles and have found really lame overviews and no real world solutions for the is unique software. Mainly, my complaint is with lack of Version Cue documentation and not Bridge.

Workflow is just as important as drop shadows glows and all the bell and wistle features, yet there is little info on working with this new software. How could Scot Kelby and other get paid to rehash a manual and avoid real knowledge like teaching people about file management and how it can help create ideas as well as any art book references, movies, special effects etc..

Just wanted to add my comments.

I've been using adobe software for 15 years now, and the whole version q thing boggles my mind... i saw a presentation on it twice by people from adobe themselves, and both times they got confused themselves during the presentation, maybe that's why there's no decent documentation... i've tried using it briefly, but i'd rather stick with doing versions the manual way... call me old fashioned... oh, and it's a resource hog too!
