Hello all,
I am new to Illustrator, however i am fairly proficient in photoshop. I've been given the task of designing a vehicle wrap for our company's cargo van. I have the template in hand, but I am looking for a little guidance as to where to start.
With the vehicle as the base layer, do I start a 2nd layer on top to serve as the base color of the graphic? I envision creating the wrap using layers, then flattening the image so all of the vinyl graphic layers are 1. I've asked the vinyl company to send me a file of a vehicle with the wrap designed to use as a semi-tutorial as well.
