Hi there!

I'm trying to make the angle follow a curve to represent a plastic tube.

Rather than try to put it into words, here's a screen cap of my fills as they are now, broken into pieces:

My next technical illustration has these darn tubes all over the place and I know there has to be an easier way, but I'm not having much help searching AI help...For all I know this is a piece of cake, but I haven't worked w/gradients much.

Any suggestions?

Use the blend tool. I am sure you can find a tutorial, though I couldn't find one on his site. Check out layersmagazine.com, or do a google check on blended pipes.

Or make a brush. Someone here can tell you how. I have to go to bed. Good luck.

Here's a quick option for you. NOt sure if it's the best option but it works for me when I need a quick tube or hose.

Peace
