Hi there,

i've got a question.
My printer requires for me to make a document with no CMYK-colours, but with only the use of PMS-colours.

Now i've made a document with (i thought) only the use of 2 PMS colours. i've send it to my printer but he replies that the document (converted to PDF) is still CMYK?!

what am i doing wrong?
can i check somehow if my file still uses CMYK colours in Illustrator?

please help guys!!

How are you creating the PDF?

Acrobat settings for color must be set to "Leave Color Unchanged." Maybe that's the issue.

Before you save your Illy file to PDF, go to your Swatch palette and select all Unused colors and delete them. Then when you save as PDF make sure you have selected "No Conversion" in the OUTPUT section in the Save PDF menu.
