sorry forgot to mention this paths problem too

sorry - i also forgot to mention - when i'm exporting (or using copy and paste) from illustrator to photoshop - my paths are not being picked up - which is what i really want to do - work on them and then exporting them back into illustrator

i've tried everything - but i'm really missing something arent i

(i'm working in preview mode in illustrator, when i export the image from ps i cant see anything in ai except a blank sheet and gray placeholders - if i go to outline view i can see an outline of my shape - but what i really need is to see the full filled in image)

When you open your work in AI from PS. You only see your art in outline. Select all, Apple-a. Now fill with a color or give the stroke a color. Now you should see your work in any mode.

Go to www.adobe.com page to Illustrator and read the stuff about CS2, especially Live Trace and Live Paint... i tink u'd like it.
