I have a PDF form I created in LiveCycle and we want to send it to customers for them to fill out, sign and return to us. The "ermail" option sends back a .xml file, which is not particularly helpful to us. We want the customer to fill out the PDF form, save it and email it back to us with the fields filled out. However, I have found that if they only have Reader, they are not allowed to save any information with the file. They can only fill it out and print it.

Is there a way to create a form that the customer fills out and can save and email back to us with the changes? Or am I missing something?

Any input would be helpful.

Thanks,
David

In the menu bar choose Advanced > Enable User Rights In Adobe Reader. This will bring up a menu window that you can give the Reader user the ability to save the form and attach it as a PDF on email.
