How can I design and place a background image in Dreamweaver that would line up my tables (for example, I have a line where a gradient will start and I want it to line up with a table in the site) and not tile?
And while I am at it, how can I create a pop-up window of an image—i.e. "click for larger image"—that is a fixed size. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Hi,
I too am fighting with DW not to tile a background image in a table cell. My design was done in PhotoShop and sliced, then put into tables in DW.
I atempted to use a layer and it worked (got the text in the cell wiht a vertical scroll bar) but if you resize the browser, the layer messes up (layers dont support being in tables) so I'm looking to use either JavaScript of Flash.
I attmpted to use flash with Dynamic text but you can not format the text, is there a way to get around that? I can't seem to make the flash background transparent either, as I want the text to be on top but have the ability to stll see the image behind it in the DW table cell.
Anyone have a solution to this, such as how to do this in flash or a JS that will work?
Thanks
