I am looking for advice on password protecting web pages. I don't need super high security. Javascript or CGI? Are any of the software programs out there worthwhile? Any input would be greatly appreciated. :)

Hey Mike.

If you do a google on 'disable right click', you'll find a number of results for securing your pages and images. Unfortunately, nothing is completely fool proof, but there are several applications that are easy to use and may be what you're looking for.

Thanks phenn,

I have used the 'disable right click' function in the past and I did find some javascript for using passwords, but they seem to be useful for single passwords. I might need multiple passwords. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

Mike :)

GoLive have its own action under message > password

You can generate the encrypted password using the makepassword.html in the actions-folder on your computer. It is not high security but it works. Try it. If you open makepassword.html in your browser it tells you how yo make the password...
