Ok, so I used Livecycle for the first time and used the distribute form wizard to have a form posted online and then have the responses sent to the user. Everything worked perfect but the only problem is that I'm unable to update the email address that the form is being sent to. Did I some how set the email address to always go to a specific address? Help!!!! How do I change what email address the form is being submitted to? Also, in the button itself I changed the email address but once I the distribute the form what I program on the button doesn't make a difference. So from what I can tell is that I created permanent email address and now can't figure out how to fix it!
HELP!

Assuming you are using Acrobat 9/LiveCycle 8.2, what distribution method did you use to Distribute your form? Acrobat.com, manually collect in email, or automatically collect on internal server? If you are manually collecting the responses, you can use the Track Forms features to modify the Submit button on the original form with the proper email address and then resend. The Form Tracker will let you know total recipients and who has/has not responded.

If you open up the Form Tracker in Acrobat and then select the form you distributed, you'll see a dialog that allows you to "Open Original Form". When you select this it opens Acrobat -- then from Acrobat you can edit the form in LiveCycle using the Forms > Edit in Form in Designer command. Once you're in LiveCycle you can create your own email submit button with the address you'd like people the form to.
The Distribute form feature in Acrobat automatically checks the form for a Submit button. If it doesn’t find a submit button, it adds a Submit Form button to the document message bar.

I added a email button and it still doesn't read the email button and is going to the wrong email address and if I create a brand new document with a email button that document also will go the wrong but same address.

Try this email button to see if it corrects the problem. I used a regular button with a submit instead of the standard email button.

It still defaulted to the wrong address. Is it possible I clicked something to say always use this address?

Which email button are you referring to? The one on the Document Message Bar or the second one labeled "Submit by Email" that was added at the bottom of your form?

it worked fine when I downloaded and used your verision but once I brought it into livecycle and re-used the distribute wizard it defaulted and used the wrong email address. Do you know of any way to fix this?

Looks like the Distribution Wizard in A9 has a one track mind and doesn't recognize other email addresses on the form. To work around this you'll need to manually send your form out and then just import the responses manually using the Compile Return Form command.
I would also recommend posting this as a feature request because this is very limiting:
