Hi all,
Need some help if anyone can please?! I'm stuck on something that I think should be easy! Basically I need to create a cutter guide for a Gondola Wing panel, have been given a height of 1228mm and width of 290mm, but they need an elliptical curve with these coordinates:
Major axis = 2476mm x Minor axis = 668mm
Anyone know how to create this in Illustrator?!
Many thanks in advance.

You are giving conflicting information
You give two different sizes but they mean the same thing. The height and major width are the same thing, and the width and minor axis are the same thing.
To make the ellipse, simply choose the ellipse tool, click once but dont drag anywhere on the artboard and type in "2476mm" and "668mm" or whatever size it is that you need.

Thanks for the input Torch,
But the sill question I have is, how do I get the curve to the coordinates that they want?!
Am trying to attach a jpeg if it helps!

A picture is worth a thousand words
Select Ellipse tool, click on artboard enter in 668mm and 2476mm
Switch to the Rectangle tool. click on artboard and enter in 290mm and 1228mm
Make sure smart guides are on (View>Smart Guides)
Select the rectangle with the black arrow (selection tool)
switch to the white arrow (direct selection tool) and hover over the bottom right corner of the rectangle it should say ANCHOR when you are over it. Click and drag to the right-middle anchor of the ellipse, when you are close to it, it will SNAP to it and once again indicate ANCHOR
Back to the direct selection tool, select both the ellipse and the rectangle
Open the Pathfinder pallette and ZLT+Click on the INTERSECTION icon (top row, 3rd icon from left)
Voila!
