export & retain slices

Does anyone know how to export and retain "slices" from Fireworks to Photoshop? Someone has created the "slices" within Fireworks but I only have Photoshop and need to access those "slices". They exported the file as a PSD and although it retain the layers it did not retain the "slices". Is there a way to do this? Thank you!

Are you sure it did not retain slices. Try View>Show>Slices from the menu bar.

I don't use fireworks all that much, but I seem to remember going back and forth before.

I actually did turn on view slices and it show up as one slice. Apparently they told me this is the file from Fireworks and since I don't have Fireworks to test it out it's difficult for me to figure out if it had slices to begin with, so I'll have to take their word for it. Any idea's?
