Hi, I'm a complete idiot when it comes to Illustrator and I need help. I purchased this image and I need to make the goat sit. Just the back legs need to change. The background mountain and foreground grass can be deleted. Would anyone be willing to give it a shot and upload it back up here.
Thanks!!!

I know! Crazy huh? But it's for a company called Sitting Goat and I'm trying to rework their really bad existing logo. Here's two pics. 1 is a baby goat and the other is a dog. I'm thinking that if a goat sat, it would sit like a dog ?
Thanks!

Downloaded your clip art just for fun. In oder to save you some work I'll let you know, your clip art you want to modify is a picture of a Big Horn Ram, not a goat. A big horn ram is a type of sheep found in mountainous regions. You don't by any chance live in the City do you?

Just the back legs need to change.
Hmmm, how many times have I heard something like that? If the back legs change, so does everything else. It's major re-drawing.

hmm from what I've seen with a quick search it would appear that goats sit on all four.
Did find one with bigger horns but not like your Ram though (Good catch Repro!), look at this:

Here's my dilemma. The client sent me this logo to use on his website. I like the guy and thought I'd look around istock for a nicer goat. Obviously I found a sheep. Doh! The company names is SGP and they print books on demand. I was just hoping to mock up something better than what he gave me, it's pretty bad.

The website I'm getting paid for, but I hate to do all that work and slap such a bad logo on it. Logo design is not my strong suit and I don't really offer it as a paid service. I'll do it for free sometimes if it's not too complicated.
The original idea was to find a stock illustration of a goat and add text to it. That's pretty easy, however the only goats I could find are too cartoonish and cutesy. The one I found which would be perfect except for the fact that it's not a goat, but a sheep and it's not sitting. If I could change the name of the company to Standing Ram Press, I'd be golden LOL!
P.S. Just left him a message that he would need to hire someone to create a better logo. I've gone as far as I can.

Amazing that companies don't see the value to have a professional logo. I do see your dilemma. Why don't you just clean up the one he gave you, continue the feet and refine the white shading area and maybe simplify the book too. Can you change the colors? try putting it in a couple ellipses. Good luck

Could not stop myself from replying after seeing that logo.
Goats and sheep do not sit like cats and dogs can. That's how a goat sits http://kushhara.com/NigerianGoats_files/DSC_0018.png
I am in London for last 6 years, if I was at home I would go out take dozens of pics for you.

Good input khawaib. I hope montano sees this and carries through with the realistic seated goat.

Awesome.
We get a lot of goats in Los Angeles, believe it or not.
They are frequently rented out from goat herders to clear brush on the banks of steep hills, as it is very difficult for people to clear brush from steeps hill and it is also much cheaper than paying people to do clear the brush.
Earlier this summer they were used extensively for a over a month to clear brush in Griffith Park, and short while ago they were used for over two weeks to clear some brush right in the center of Downtown.
Both times they were brought in from Oregon.

I'm not sure about any Goat progams, but there is the infamous "Talking Moose," now known as Uli's Moose (http://www.zathras.de/angelweb/moose.htm).
