Read your tip today, "Adobe Illustrator CS2 Tip – Centering Art to a Page"

You might give this a try. You do not have to group.
Save, save, save, you never know when the box will decide to crash! Do apple-0 (zero), so you "view the entire artboard" then apple-a select all, then apple-x copy-cut, now do apple-v paste to the center of the present view. Your art will be centered in the artboard. Just another way to peal and egg. Anyone can do it if they show you how. That's what I like about AI, many ways to get from A to B.

Hi Scottie,

You're right! Any tip in Illustrator is usually just the tip of the iceberg with lots of other great tips beneath the surface.

Also, the more ways you can do something, the more important that particular feature is.

In my tutorial about InDesign Swatches a couple of months ago, I mentioned that there are 5 ways to make colors into Swatches. If my theory is correct, saving colors that you use in a layout must be really important.

Have a great weekend!
