I'm trying to take a photograph of a car and put a graphic design on the car, like some flames, but I want to take the same highlights and reflections off the car and lay it back on top of the new design, so that it looks real. Would anyone know how I can go about this without redrawing the reflections or highlights? I would think they would be on a different layer somehow. Any help would greatly be appreciated!!! Thanks , Dave

Make sure the graphics are on a separate layer, then experiment with the layer's Blending Modes (Multiply, Overlay, etc.) and opacity.

Well thank you....I'll try that out and see what I get.

I think you may be able to re-paint in some highlights with the history brush as well.

How would I go about doing that? I've never used the history brush

This is just baffling me....I know it can be done, but everything I try just doesn't work. All I want to do is lift the Shadows, Reflections and higlights off the car so I may put a design on the car and then lay them back on top of the new design as if the car was orignally painted that way. Any help would greatly be appreciated!!
