I have created a large curve path on a page 11x17, this curve consists of 4 paths. Im grouping the paths, stroke 150 pts. and then feather 0.63 but when I do this, it will not let me feather the paths if I group them and set the stroke with a round cap although i can feather if the ends are a butt cap. If I ungroup the 4 paths feathering works but then you see a overlap on the feathering where two paths touch end to end.
Any thoughts on how to resolve this?
Hi mystrwizard,
I'm not sure about what you mean. I opened your pdf image in Illustrator CS, selected it with the selection tool, went to Object/Group, then to Effect/Stylise/Feather and everything was fine, no gap, good feathering...

Your are right about that one, that PDF does feather but I have another one that is more accurately what I need with the rounded end paths, and this one does not feather if i group all the paths. I would upload it but its too big, its 179 Kb. I would be more then happy to email it direcly.
