Can someone please fill me in on the proper way to merge art brush strokes with other imported art - while maintaining the art brush style?
I'm in the habit of importing my line drawings, tracing & converting to live paint in order to make alterations with the paint brush tool, but I haven't discovered the proper way to combine my brush strokes with the original drawing (the brush strokes turn to single point lines). As a workaround, I've always just pasted the lot over to Photoshop, then taken it directly back into Illustrator for another trace - which works - but minute details are always lost in the process... what am I doing wrong? :confused:
