Can anyone tell me or explain what are some good tips and tricks that makes the banner stand out more.....i know of a couple but a buddy of mine showed them to me and of course he has already used them....so if anyone know's or know of any links that could help me i would appreciate it

depends on the what is intendend use for the banners. for instance, a physician might not want his banner to look like a grocery ad so you just have to rely on good design skills to use color and imagery to make it stand out but subtly compared to rest of the page its on

on the other hand... use lots of contrasting colors, bold imagery and creativity unless the page the banner is on is already fill with the same

I don't really think there are any certain "tricks" that will work for all banners such as filters or design trick... it all depends on page the banner lies on, the client, the client's image and how good of a designer you are ;)

hey synthetic ......thanks for the reply ........yea your right depends on the customer as far as what they want.......cuz i know there are like tips and tricks that will make your banner stand out......what i mean by that.......is like patterns.......and overlay's and stuff like that......but i appreciate you commenting and i will definately use that info.....thanks buddy

Hey Synthetic your site is awsome buddy....and that site with the limo's you did one hell of a job.....much props to you on that........how did you do your intro.....did you use flash.....and do you have a tutorial on that.....or can you send me a simular tutorial.........thanks in advance....

thank you much.... the intro for my site is flash... I had designed the logo in Photoshop and just added the little bit of animation to it in Flash. Sorry, no tutorial for that one... but its pretty simple because all the logo is doing is zooming larger so its basically just a tween from small to large.

I had planned to create some more tutorials to add to the site but I haven't had much time recently thanks to having to remodel my bathroom once the Kelly Limousine package was done and now I am in midst of YSR racing season. WIll probably add more resources slowly throughout the summer and more during the fall. :cool:
