clipping mask w/ raster image - view outline shows bounding box?

I'm trying to place a raster image inside a clipping path, view outline, and see only the outline for the vector path. So far, everything I've tried leaves me with the vector path plus the rectangular raster image outline

Any ideas? :confused: help!

You're stuck... there is no way to turn off seeing the image's bounding box in outline mode unless you hide the image.

In PS you can export the path to Illy, place it , hide your image and be able to see the path without the bounding box.
