I don't know if there is a template for a bottle but you can find templates at :
http://studio.adobe.com/
I just took a look at Illustrator templates and I found a wine bottle at :
http://share.studio.adobe.com/axAssetDetailSubmit.asp?aID=13241&back=http%3A%2F%2Fshare%2Estudio%2Eadobe%2Ecom%2Fa xQuickSearchSubmit%2Easp%3Ftxt%3Dbottle%26allprods %3D4%26submit1%2Ex%3D21%26submit1%2Ey%3D6

Good one GuyB. The Adobe studio site has a lot of cool downloads, most of them free. It's a great place to poke around…

Hi
thanks GuyB
I did try a search at adobe.co.uk but it didnt come up with the studio. or share.studio you've linked! :(

I did do a photo of a bottle of wine I had and used that and live paint to make my own!
not the best but not bad for a first effort.

Using the pen tool draw a profile of half of a bottle. Give the profile a stroke of 2 or three points no fill, you choose the color. Now select your profile and choose Object, path-outline path. Select your outlined path and go to Effects, 3D-revolve. In the menu that appears choose Right, leave offset to 0. This assumes that the bottom of your profile ends to the right and is half the diameter of the bottle. Now choose okay. How does it look. You can play with the lights colors, Map art to your shape. To change anything select your 3D bottle and in the appearance menu double click on the line that reads 3D rotate. If you do this the 3D rotate menu will reappear and you can change things. Read up in HELP on 3D.

will have a go 'cos the bottle you've done looks pretty cool too!

Do a search on the word "bottle" in this forum
This was done by Adobe Ace...and he has a tutorial on how to do it. Should get you an A+
