Illustrator CS4 Artboards

The new Artboard features in Illustrator CS4 have been long awaited by some, but there is plenty here to assist every Illustrator user. New options include the ability to create a document with up to 100 separate artboards. They can be of differing size and orientation. Each artboard can be exported to its own file. Also, the new artboard tool has more options for organizing your workspace in Illustrator CS4.

This video requires Adobe Flash Player.

Sheryl,

Thanks for this great tutorials and easy to follow. Please keep up the great works and looking forward for more of your tutorials in the future.

I really that the videos are downloadable because the screen that display on this website is very small. Please consider that option for the future.

Thanks,

Is there any way to change the number/order of the pages before exporting to a pdf?

No, there is not (perhaps this would make a good feature request for CS5 :) ). The artboards are not technically “pages.” You can, however, rearrange pages in Acrobat after you’ve created the PDF.
