Very well explained. I had questions in how create new artboards inside a already open document and you showed how simple it was.

Thank you very much

The artboards feature is really giving me headaches. I was used to export all my jpegs via the "Save for web..." function where you have a visual preview of the exported file, in CS3 it always opened only the crop marked area in that window, now with the artboards implemented the function opens the whole document space which basically renders it useless.

Hi Cheryl, We just acquired CS4 and I love the artboards. Can I change the numbered order of them somehow? It seems to save them in the order I created and added them.
Thanks,
Rita

With the CS4 crop tool you could mark out an area and then use the 'save for web' tool for image optimisation, etc. How do we do that now Export provides no options for optimising jpgs, or setting transparency.

Hello,
I am new new new to this world of adobe. I have been playing and designing web headers and some logos in photoshop 7.0 and cs-2. I have now just gotten the c-s4 suite. I have no clue even how to start. Can you recomend the best place to start with an on-line learning school for someone who reallys knows nothing about the whole thing? I learn fast, but need to start with basic and I mean really the basics.
I would appreciate your help so much and I thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Val

Your tutorial was elegant and eloquent. Brilliant! Blew all my artboard demons away! Your explanatory powers are incomparable. Thank you.
