I was really looking forward to viewing Tom Green’s Illustrator to Flash Clip, as I’m presently taking a Graphic Design Course and need to get this process down correctly.
But, the video viewing area of this Link is Blank. How can we get this one up & running again?
thank you.

Raymond, I am watching it right now. To solve these I inevitably head for the obvious: Do you have the latest version of Flash Player?

Comment by Tom Green | November 10, 2008 @ 9:39 am

Eric,

I checked the page and everything seems to be loading correctly. Follow Tom’s advice and check your flash player. There is a link provided below the player window that will take you to the newest version.

Thanks for your prompt replies!
I was about to follow your advice, but noticed this ?Disclaimer? …Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.12.36
Universal Binary for Intel-based Macs | 5.5MB
I have the iMac G5, just prior to the Intel Model, w/ 2.1 GHz Processor & 1.5 GB Memory.
I’m using Adobe CS3.
I just don’t want to screw up anything, at this point, with my need to do CS3 Workflows.
? Could Downloading this Latest Version, upset these?
thanks again,
eric

There no issues if you have been successfully using Flash CS3. The workflow is the same for both versions.

? I proceeded to Install it from the Link located under the Blank White Staging Area above.
Still nothing.
My iMac says it Downloaded it to Mac HD > Library > Internet Plug-Ins.
? Within my Player Folder Icons, in the Flash Folder, still says (w/ Get Info.) that I have Flash Player 9.0 ???
thanks for your continued assistance.

Eric, if you can watch the video above this post, you don’t need to install the Flash Player

Sorry to trouble you w/ this on-going request for assistance, but; even though I did Download the Flash Player from the Blank White Stage Area above, I still can not watch the video, as it remains Blank?
My iMac says it Downloaded it to Mac HD > Library > Internet Plug-Ins.
Flash Player still says that I have Flash Player 9.0 ?
thanks,
eric

Hi Eric Is a very nice tutorial. I have a question
If I have a car design in Illustrator CS3 and the wheels are integrated of many shapes can I make in Flash the rotation animation of the wheel like in this tutorial.
Thanks

Thanks Tom! Great refresher. I actually wasn’t aware that I could set the symbol in Ai. Thanks for that lil’ nugget.
