Inspiration: Josh Bradley | Design Coding | Create Silhouettes | Photoshop Blog
Hey everyone. So we are getting to Orlando to begin the festivities that are Photoshop World. Make sure that you follow along with us at the Photoshop World Blog. That said, I figured I would keep the post a little light, and share with you some inspiration.
If you follow my blog for a while, you will notice that I am a big fan of Nature photographer Moose Peterson. Whether it be DLWS, BaseCamp, or a big safari, Moose is one of thoe instructors that standing next to alone can give you enough inspiration and technology tips to take you to a great level.
However, one of the things that may -not- be known is how he is surrounded by amazing talent. Take for example Josh Bradley. Serving as the assistant to Mr. P, Josh is out there making sure that your experience at the events goes well. What you may not know is that while he is taking care of you, he is also taking some amazing images as well. That is double duty – and many kudos to him for that.
Josh is a NIK guy, pulling and pushing the envelope of the images using NIK software. On his blog, he is making some mentions of some upcoming book. Whether this be a picture book, or technique book, I would definitely say that this one should get on your short list as soon as it gets out to market. Good job!
Check out the Design Prophet and a cool tutorial on Silhouettes after the jump.
Rapping to SEO – Prophet Style
The Design Prophet/SEO Rapper Strikes again with a cool rap about Design Coding. Whether you like rap music or not, I think this is an awesome way to get out the ground rules of good design. Definitely worth the check out. Who knows.. you might get turned on to a new genre of music, and have your head bopping to SEMPRO in no time.
Great Silo Tutorial
Cheryl Graham has a tutorial posted on how to take a picture and using Photoshop and Illustrator, turn it in to a vector based Silhouette. Im almost embarassed to say how many times i’ve gone to Istockphoto and downloaded one for the fear of its complexity. She really does make it look easy.
Click here to check out the tutorial.
OK. It’s pre-con day! Have a wonderful one!
