Happy Monday everyone. Let’s get right down to it.

Photo and Design Inspiration
Jacob Cass over at the Just Creative Design blog has posted a paper that talks a little bit more about the concept of designing a logo, and it’s a pretty good read. Before you start opening up a file in Illustrator, it’s always a good idea to keep some basic principles in mind. This will save you a ton of headaches in the long run.

Another cool site that I found over the weekend was Headhunter Studio. I was checking out some photo work, and I stumbled on to his site. I was really impressed with the variety of things that you can find there. From paintings, to logo work to photography - it was all very, very cool. Now, I was particularly pumped to see some of his beach photography, which I also found on his Model Mayhem page . Keep in mind, his photography deals with swimsuit SI based stuff.. so if you don’t like swimsuit stuff.. you might want to pass on it. I’m personally interested in the control of light and color on the beach. Neat, neat stuff.

This one is going to be a bit of a digger.. and with an estimated value of $600, it should definitely have you searching. Let’s get three things here for a scavenger hunt (And before you ask… I would give you a question that’s specific to a piece of software.. but that would exclude so many people if they don’t own that app.. so it’s a simple contest, but an even one..)

1. Go into the Layers TV “Previous Episodes” link under the player, and tell me the date and special guest for Episode 15.

3. What is your favorite software program from Adobe.
