Living In Layers - The OFFICIAL Layers Magazine Blog
Jacob Cass – 9 Blogs | Chrome in After Effects CS4
Today I figured I’d share a couple of different things, so let me get started:
Jacob Cass – 9 Blogs to See
Jacob Cass is a designer out of the land down under, and host of Just Creative Design. I like to catch up on what Jacob does in the morning and I think it’s something for you to do as well. He’s always got cool graphic design stuff going on. Case in point: Today Jacob talks about 9 up-and-coming graphic design blogs. That should prove to be a good source of inspiration right there.

Hey.. while you are at it, make sure you subscribe if you are not a Layers magazine subscriber. Jacob’s got a feature on negative space that I am totally digging.
Chrome in After Effects CS4
Jay Schuh has a cool Chrome Logo effect in After Effects CS4 tutorial that’s worth a looksie. Make sure you check it out by clicking on the link below:

That’s it for today everyone. We’ll see you guys back here tomorrow!

Hello RC,
Thanks again for the link out and for helping these up and coming design blogs!I am still yet to receive my copy of Layers Mag, wonder if it is coming? I want to get it soon so I can post it on my blog. I don’t know if it is to much to ask if I could get a few photos of the article? I have been given a PDF but the paper look really adds that touch. Also where should I direct them to when posting about Layers mag? Straight to the front page or the subscribe page?
Cheers,
Jacob

Hello Tavis,
Have you heard of http://www.problogger.net? They will have all the resources you need to get up and started with blogging. http://www.dailyblogtips.com is another site full of information, but it is a bit harder to find / navigate.
