Jay Nelson

Since 1992, Jay Nelson has been the editor and publisher of Design Tools Monthly, the executive summary of graphic design news. Earlier in his career, he managed a printing company and a prepress service bureau. He contributes regularly to Macworld, Layers, InDesign and X-Ray magazines, and speaks at such events as Macworld, Graph Expo, Mac Live and the HOW Design conference. Jay is the author and presenter of the brief training video that Quark includes in the box with QuarkXPress 7, and is also the author of “QuarkXPress 7: New Features”, a self-paced online training video and CD from Lynda.com.
