Joe McNally On Kelby Training | Take Your Child to Work | Photoshop Tutorial Part 2 | Contest Winner

joem2a.jpg

I’m pretty excited to announce that Joe McNally’s new class on small flashes is now up on the Kelby Training website. This class will do a great job of teaching you how to get the most out of small camera flash systems, and I say it’s about time. You don’t have to feel tied to the hotshoe of the camera. Rise up! Learn how to bounce, I say. Sign up, and check it out. I’m sure you’ll be satisfied.

Coming into the office yesterday, I was informed that it was National Take your Child To Work Day. Now, both Corey and I don’t have any children, but our producer and graphic artist mavens happily provided some new on-air talent. Sometime very soon, you are going to be able to see a special “Internet Only” produced version of Layers TV starring the Junior Layers TV Girls – Elaine and Jackie!! I’ll tell you this, for being 12 and 14 years old, they really know their stuff! Keep it tuned here for their debut!

The conclusion to yesterday’s Photoshop Tutorial, as well as our contest winner, after the jump.

Mike Rodriguez – Tutorial Part Deux
When we last left Mike Rodriguez, he was creating a cool background using Photoshop CS3. In the second part of this episode, he takes it one step further. He even gives us a little Silhouette action and some borders. Nice touch! Make sure you check it out.

Mike Rodriguez – Part II

Congratulations to Terry Molengraaf for winning our Blog Contest. Terry is going to be experiencing Photoshop World in Vegas this September, on us!! Have a wonderful time!

Thanks so much for stopping in. Tune in next Monday when we give away something just as cool. Enjoy the weekend!
