Joe McNally’s Book is Tearing Up the Amazon Charts. Preorder Today!
Now, I am a big fan of catching up on inspiration and learning from the pros, but if I had to name one book that I am COMPLETELY psyched about getting – it’s got to be Joe McNally’s upcoming book, The Moment It Clicks.
Now, Scott Kelby has done a great job of talking about what the purpose of the book is on his website and the comments on this post alone should serve as a testament to the amount of inspiration and insight one can find in just a small dose of Mr. McNally.
I’ve seen him speak at several Photoshop World conventions, and it is very hard to explain in words how well he can hold an audience with stories about how he worked to get the picture that is behind him on a screen. McNally is an incredibly gifted photographer, famous the world over for his images, and the one thing that he left me with was an incredible appreciation for the tenacity at which he chases his craft.
Every picture that he shows has a story about how perseverance, determination, and photographic skill were mixed to give you what you see. Top all of that off with the fact that he is AMAZINGLY funny, and you have a book that serves as inspiration and as a manual at the same time. I remember leaving him one day after chatting, with my brain completely buzzing with excitement over trying a specific flash technique (ah, those SB-800’s.. gotta love ‘em).
Joe’s book is tearing up the charts, and I have to say that while I am not all that surprised, I am incredibly happy to see it. Make sure that you spread the word on this one. If you would like to see more on Joe McNally’s photography, be sure to visit his website by clicking on the link below. Be sure that you take a look at his Special Projects section. His work on the faces of Ground Zero is something that should NOT be missed
Joe, congratulations on your success! I can’t wait to get my preorder. Have a great Tuesday everyone!
