jarrett.jpgReally.. for some reason, the Bengals came on when I was typing the title to this post. It sounded like a good idea at the time.

Lee Brimelow has updated The Flash Blog to include some tutorials on how to encode for the newly-released Flash Player 10 on the Adobe Beta Labs website. If you want to stay on the edge of what's happening on the Flash front, that is a great blog to keep checking out.

Digital Pro Talk and Home Based Business Pointers
Famed wedding photographer David Ziser is at it again at Digital Pro Talk. The blogging dynamo has got a great post outlining 20 things that you should keep in mind when starting a home-based business in Photography. That is definitely worth checking out.

Jarrett Murphy - Inspiration
I'm a real big fan of night photography, so I was very happy to see that David Ziser included Jarrett Murphy as one of his inspirational links on Digital Pro talk. Jarret has got some amazing images, and they will definitely get the creative juices flowing.

Check out his website by clicking on the following link.

I'm keeping it light today. Check out the jump for this week's contest. You'll be glad you did!

Contest Time!
Over the weekend, your friend Moose Peterson and Co. headed out to their newest DLWS event (and if you haven't attended one of these events, you really should). This, however, was capped off by Moose getting a picture that he has worked a very, very long time for. He posted an entry about it on May 15. This is the subject of the contest.

Go to the Contact section of this site, and select Layers TV for the dropdown. Enter your name, email address, and the answer to the contest:

"It took Moose ___________ to get this picture." The answer is on that May 15 post on Moose's blog.

The contest will be open from today to Thursday 5PM and the winner will be announced on Friday. The winner of the contest will win a one year subscription to Layers Magazine, in addition to an amazing piece of software- Viveza, brought to you by our friends over at NIK Software (a $250.00 value). Make sure you check out their website, and go through the lessons they have on the page. The Upoint technology is a really, really neat thing.

That wraps it up for us today. Tune in tomorrow for some cool tutorials, and other musings from the Layers TV newsdesk.

Hey, RC... Manic Monday was performed by the BANGLES... not the BENGALS... the BENGALS are the NFL team based in Cincinnati... the BANGLES are a girl group from the 80's that hit number 1 on the charts with "Walk Like An Egyptian", among other songs that charted in the US...

Hey Glen:

Yeah, I know.. Suzanna Hoff, Bangles, "Walk Like An Egyptian", "Hazy Shade of Winter" kind of music. That's what the problem was. I saw something on TV about the Bengals football team, and my mind jumped to the Bangles...

Im not sports inclined.. as you may see there. :)
