  • Dr. Brown's 1-2-3 Process is a an image processor script that's great for batch processing
  • Check them out and enjoy

RC answers a viewer question about turning an image into a cartoon using Illustrator.

  • Open Illustrator and place the graphic or image you want to work on
  • Open the Live Trace command and apply it to your image
  • Experiment with the Threshold and Minimum Are settings to get the look you want
  • Clicking on the Expand button will convert the image into vectors
  • Open up your color swatch and start playing around by adding some color to different parts of your image
  • There are a lot of possibilities and variations using this creative technique

If I'm not mistaken, the script you talked about in this episode ("Image Processor") is not from the Russel Brown website, it's preinstalled. There is a more flexible version, though. It's called 1-2-3 Process. Still, great episode!
