Corey is showing off a new improvement in Photoshop CS4 that allows users to apply distortion to a smart object.
- Create some text on top of a background image
- Duplicate the text, flip vertical, and convert the layer to a smart object
- Create a fade using a layer mask to simulate a reflection
- Choose transform and distort the smart object, which is a new feature in CS4
- To give the text some depth, copy the background layer, apply a blur filter, then use a layer mask to isolate the effect
RC goes through his camera bag and talks about his favorite pieces of equipment.
