RC is really excited about all of the new upgrades in Flash CS4 and shares some of his favorites.
- Users can revert back to the old Flash layout by going to the classic workspace
- Tweening has gotten a lot easier in CS4. The selection tool can be used to change tween direction, change its position, and more
- Users can modify the path of the tween and easily create curved paths
- The new motion editor has all kinds of attributes to adjust and experiment with
- Motion settings can be saved and applied as presets. There are motion default presets available in Flash already
Corey talks about using presets in InDesign.
- Using style presets can help to keep things consistent between multiple users on the same InDesign project
- Create a shape object in a new InDesign document
- Apply object effects to the shape
- Go to the object styles menu and save the settings as a preset. You can also assign a keyboard shortcut to the object style
- That saved preset can now be applied to any new object and will be consistent throughout the project
