AIR is a new technology from Adobe that leverages commonly used languages and scripting (Flex, Actionscript, Ajax), and allows you to create desktop applications.
RC downloads and installs two applications: Lee Brimelow’s 3D browser , and Digimix – a multi-track application designed by Alan Queen.

Special guest Bert Monroy stops by Layers TV to talk about Symbols in Adobe Illustrator CS3.
Symbols allow you to save on memory power by using a symbol. In an illustrator document, using a symbol allows you to have 1 object in multiple places.
You can each symbol’s location, transformation, and transparency, and the original symbol is not affected.
In the event that you need to change your design, you can select the symbol, and select Replace Symbol from the Panel fly out. The symbol will then be replaced and maintaining the same attributes of all of its instances.
