Corey Shows us a workaround for how to animate scale in Photoshop CS3
- Take your image and define a pattern from it
- After filling a new layer above, apply a pattern overlay layer style
- Go into the blending options and drop the fill opacity
- Adjust the pattern overlay options to increase or decrease the scale
- Drop both instances into the animation timeline and Photoshop will scale between the two states
- You can use the same steps to add a moving background
RC demonstrates how to put together a Flash animation that is composed of 3 different .swf files
- In this tutorial, RC is using 3 different .fla files, each of them composed of 3 symbols fading in from different points
- Create a PSD file with your layout and all of your layers inside of it
- Import the PSD file into the Flash stage
- Import the layers as movie clips and then go to properties to convert them into buttons
- Build a container for your .swf files to play in
- Use behaviors to make your buttons load the external movie clips in the container you just made
- These techniques can be used to build your website in Flash using several small components
