Corey breaks down a popular new effect to gives your static images some life.
- Use Photoshop’s Clone Stamp tool to remove the edges of the object (in this case, a car)
- Open After Effects and import the image
- Set your layers as 3D layers
- Open the animation properties of your layer
- Add a keyframe and adjust the viewing position inside that layer
- By moving the viewing position properties, you can create movement inside the still photo
RC goes over some of the basics of using Masks in Flash.
- Open a new document in Flash
- Create a simple object (like a ball) and convert it into a symbol. Make it a movie clip
- Insert a keyframe and move the object. Use Tweening to animate the motion
- Create a new layer and draw a shape that will become the mask
- Change the layer into a mask
- Experiment with the lesson files and see what kinds of different ways you can use masks
