Episode Summary

RC answers a viewer's question about how to export a multi-page document from InDesign to print as a booklet.

  • Fix Links Automatically command will search your computer for the graphic files in your document
  • Use the links prowler to locate graphics in both your document, and on your hard drive
  • When you are ready to print, go under the File menu and click on Show All Menu Items
  • Choose the Print Booklet command
  • Set the print options and check the preview of what the finished version will look like

RC also shares the desk with special guest Laurie Excell, who's in the studio to talk about two Nikon cameras and some of her favorite Photoshop tricks.

  • Laurie Excell joins RC to talk about the Nikon D3 and Nikon D300
  • Pop open the diopter adjustment and sharpen the focus by turning the adjuster while looking through the viewfinder
  • Capture the peak of action with continuous advance. You can also work around camera shake and get better portrait shots

  • In Photoshop, use a Gaussian Blur filter with Overlay blending mode to bring out the color in your images
