Marcus Geduld

Marcus Geduld is a jack-of-many-trades. He works as a freelance
programmer and designer. He also teaches programming, design, animation, compositing and video editing at Future Media Concepts (www.fmctraining.com). He is the author of Premiere Pro Editing Workshop and the co-author of After Effects On the Spot. Marcus regularly speaks about technical and artistic topics at conferences around the country, including NAB and Macworld. He is an Adobe Certified Expert, a Macromedia Certified Developer, and an Avid Certified Instructor.

In addition to his teaching, design, and technical work, Marcus is also the Artistic Director of Folding Chair Classical Theatre, Inc. (www.foldingchairtheatre.org). Marcus regularly directs (and occasionally acts in) plays in New York city. He has assistant directed at Circle in the Square on Broadway and also at the BBC in London. Marcus holds an MFA in Direction from the Professional Directors Training Program at Ohio University and a BA in Theatre and Dramatic Literature from New College in Sarasota, Florida.

Marcus lives with his wife, actress Lisa Blankenship (www.lblankenship.com), in Brooklyn, New York. They have a pet turtle named Turtle.
