New Classes, New Tutorials, New Contest!
Happy Monday everyone! I would be remiss if I didn’t start off this week by pointing out that we have a couple of cool new classes over on Kelby Training that you really should take a look at. For starters, we have Richard Harrington’s class on how to Color Correct in Final Cut Pro, while Eddie Tapp talks to us about how to do Blending in Photoshop. Finally, our own Matt Kloskowski has an AWESOME Lightroom 2 Power Session, as well as a slew of other classes available for Lightroom 2.0. If you just upgraded, you need to be watching these classes. Nuff said!
New Tutorial for Today
This week, Mike Rodriguez has got a cool tutorial on how to reduce noise using Photoshop CS3. Everyone hates noise, let’s face it. If you want to make that image a little smoother, you might want to spend a couple of minutes with this:

Layers Blog Contest
This should be very easy. Let’s give away a Layers magazine subscription (or renewal), a membership to the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (which includes Photoshop User Magazine), as well as a signed copy of Scott’s upcoming book, the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 Book for Digital Photographers.
All you have to do is this: This past Friday I posted a video. In the video I made an animation. What did I animate and what was the symbol name I gave it? (Told you it was easy)
Go to the Contact portion of the page and select Layers Blog Contest from the drop down. Fill in your name, email address and the answer. The contest closes on Thursday at 5PM and the winner is announced this Friday at 9AM.
Good Luck to everyone - here’s to a great Monday!
